狗誤食洋蔥腎衰竭送命
含二硫化物侵紅血球造成溶血症候群

【曾雪蒨╱台中報導】台中市兩隻貴賓狗，近日因好奇吃下主人買的洋蔥送急診，其中一隻因急性肝腎衰竭搶救不治，另一隻因吃得較少幸運救回一命。醫師提醒貓狗飼主，洋蔥中所含的二硫化物會破壞寵物體內紅血球，食用過量會造成貧血、急性肝腎衰竭，千萬要小心。
全國動物醫院總院長陳道杰說，兩隻貴賓狗跟了主人七年多，與主人感情很好，出事當天，兩隻狗分別出現拉肚子、褐色尿情況，「其中一隻因為食用過多，到院時已昏迷，另一隻因吃較少，狀況較穩定」。

累積食用也發病
主人哭求醫師全力搶救她的狗，院方幫食用較多的小狗緊急輸血，雖甦醒出院，但兩周後仍因肝腎衰竭不治，另一隻狗打點滴後恢復正常。陳道杰說：「洋蔥中含有二硫化物，貓狗只要吃下超過體重的百分之零點五，就可能造成溶血症候群，出現貧血、肝腎衰竭症狀，這兩隻貴賓狗體重各僅約兩公斤，更是危險！」
陳道杰說，許多寵物主人使用人類嬰兒罐頭食品替代，他引用美國康乃爾大學動物科學中心最近發表文章，警告：「部分嬰兒罐頭食品含有洋蔥，飼主千萬不要選用。」
大墩寵物醫院院長戴更基呼籲：「即使不是一次大量誤食，日積月累慢慢吃洋蔥，依然會因溶血性貧血發病，養寵物前，應收集寵物相關資訊，避免意外發生。」醫師並警告，狗若食用葡萄，當中的葡萄籽會導致狗腎衰竭；貓、狗、鼠若食用巧克力，則會心悸、心跳加速、甚至猝死，飼主應該注意。

真的會一直累積嗎??

x寶罐子上面沒有寫含“洋蔥”，但是上次我到家樂福買的時後，

因為那邊是12罐整箱賣的，在箱子背面就有看到用中文寫的成份，有“洋蔥粉”、

“玉米粉”等，而桂x的標榜的就是不含玉米粉等，所以我都是買桂x的

今天也有看到這則報導.........................................

呃.....我沒有買過什麼嬰兒食品...@.@?
不過, 我突然想到小時候, 家裡有一隻博美狗...家人養的..
好像是從我國小到...牠走失..?? (高職還二專?)
我記得我們都有丟巧克力 (小小顆裡面有小米那種)...給博美狗吃,
很少丟啦...不過, 牠超愛吃的...而且..牠從小就吃人的食物...
而牠也活到很老了, 鬍鬚都白了, 只是後來牠出去玩..沒有回來了..
嘿~ 我知道那些對寵物不好, 所以..我從來不給我家貓仔吃那些東西的..
博美狗事件...只是一個回憶..那時..我才國小..無知啊...一.一""
不過, 為什麼對博美狗沒影響, 我還是想不透...@.@?

嘉寶和桂格的產品太多了

不能一概而論(要看口味)
寵物店賣的通常沒有含洋蔥，超市買的就要小心
但最保險的方法是自己要會看，超市買的桂格嬰兒食品，有些也是有洋蔥的

下面是嘉寶的整個產品內含物

簡單來說就是純的雞肉泥就沒有洋蔥
像這個

超市買的有可能買到嬰兒雞肉餐，就有洋蔥
像下面這個

至於桂格也有一些嬰兒雞肉餐，裡面有蔬菜和洋蔥的，所以要仔細看成份
選純的雞肉泥就不怕了.......
(大部分的寵物店或寵物購物網站，多少都會注意這點，但是主人自己學著看成份最保險)

以前還沒狂牛症時
到賣場買的6罐一組純雞肉泥下面的中文包裝成份有洋蔥粉
而牛肉泥我記得是沒有
寵物店賣的和賣場賣的都一樣是Chicken
而且有的獸醫師好像也會推薦飼主以嘉*雞肉泥代替A/D耶?

我怎麼記得牛肉泥的才含有洋蔥，雞肉泥的沒有才對。而且十月份在愛買看到有在賣很久沒有的牛肉泥，我還特別看成份，真的有加洋蔥呀！

真的是小心為妙喔
